Overview: We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in concrete finishing techniques and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Duties: - Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them - Use power tools and hand tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces - Apply various finishes to concrete, such as troweling, brooming, or stamping - Repair damaged or worn concrete surfaces - Install expansion joints and edges to prevent cracking - Follow blueprints or specifications to ensure accurate and precise finishing - Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate projects - Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Skills: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques - Knowledge of metal stud framing, plastering, frame carpentry, roofing, flooring installation, welding, and caulking - Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively - Strong attention to detail and precision in finishing work - Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
